weareglobalization: Versace Fall 2012. Ms Donatella picked up right where her older brother left off over 11 years ago.  There were crucifixes, there were chains and there were straps. It was a dark mood chez Versace that was accented with a few bold yellow and red frocks.  Versace fall 2012 did not only reference Gianni’s last collection, it also referenced Stieg Larson through the high shirt bang wigs and dark eye makeup created by Pat McGrath.  If I were a believer I would lust after this dress, look at the rhinestones and the rich texture.  The accessories in the show were breathtaking as well. I loooved the oversized clutches and the fishnet boots.
